A little about Cocoa Du Mell
Hiya, I'm Don, founder, creator and maker at Cocoa Du Mell.
Literally born into catering, from the age of seven, one of my daily 'chores' was to make fruit crumbles, jellies and other desserts for sale in my parents café. No, neither Mum nor Dad considered it child labour if they were paying me sixpence a week pocket money, lol. Different times, yes. But it did me no harm.
After a few years in adulthood, working in restaurants and pubs in London and Sydney (Australia) I took very different and varied career paths, and travelled a lot.
I developed a love, appreciation respect for art, in particular: the creativity of wonderful cuisine presentation; the scientific artistry of exquisite flavour pairings; and the aesthetic pleasures of a beautifully designed dinning room. Even so, with an understanding of the pressure and heat behind the scenes, I always steered away from getting involved and returning to service.
Until now!............Because I've found chocolate!
So: inspired by incredible Chocolatiers; their exquisite creations; a love for custom motorcycle paint; and a massive push from my incredibly talented and bossy Sister... I'm back in the kitchen (my home kitchen)
The mission now? Take the finest ingredients and recipes, create beautifully indulgent treats and treasures, and endeavour to offer you, an indulgent and decadent chocolate experience to remember.

Shipping & Packaging
I will endeavour to process your order in 1-3 days of ordering and post the next day. If there are any delays, such as high temperature days, I will email you to explain the remedy. Please bare this in mind when ordering if you have a time critical celebration.
All items will be packaged to industry standards and sent via Royal Mail 24H tracked, in the UK. Please contact me prior to order if you require international postage, and to discuss cost.
Royal will email you your tracking number when they have your order (please check your junk mail if you fail to receive this, failing that contact me and I can provide the tracking number for you)
I can't guarantee your parcel will fit through your letter box, and direct sunlight could affect the product, so please ensure someone can take receipt of the delivery.
Storage, Shelf Life & Allergen Information
Our Bonbons and Bars are made with fresh ingredients, balanced with the minimum of preservatives for premium flavour and decor.
Best Before: As such the recipes are formulated to be consumed at their best within 4-5 weeks. All orders will be sent to you with that time frame.
Boxes and or menu cards will contain the relevant best before dates, ingredients and allergen information. They will still be edible long after these dates but the flavours will slowly dissipate and the decor lose it's appeal.
Allergen information can also be found on the product pages. Please visit prior to ordering to satisfy yourself and ensure your needs are safely met.
Storage: Keep out of direct sunlight and avoid exposure to temperatures above 25C. Ideally keep them somewhere cool and dark, and away from strong odours. Fridges are not recommended for that reason and also that they will attract condensation when taken out and the decor will spoil

Returns & Assistance
All orders are quality assured prior to despatch but we cannot control the delivery of these delicately structured perishable chocolates. If your item is received in a faulty or unacceptably damaged condition, please take photographs and email me immediately, and I'll do my best to find a suitable remedy.
